The brief for the project was to create a kitchen using the Staron solid material that can transform into any chosen shape and form. The concept here is utilising the feature of thermoformability to bend and create more intricate shapes such as on the shelf doors. These patterns represent the hand wood carvings. 

The material was used for kitchen bench top, island bench top, cabinet doors, pantry and the mini bar. The Staron solid surface also has a material with translucent feature which has been utilised for the custom-made lighting above the kitchen island. 

This project was a concept submission for Staron Design Awards 2019.
